Navimate™ was founded by Dr. Barry Megdal in the city of Northridge, CA. He is an Electrical Engineering faculty member at Caltech, and is also a NAUI-certified dive instructor. Navimate™ was formed with one mission in mind -- to solve a problem divers face every day. All too often, divers get lost and find themselves in risky situations. Without the aid of proper underwater navigation, there is not much a diver can do to stay out of harm's way. Through years of research and development, Dr. Megdal led a team of engineers to find that solution, and so Navimate™ was born.
